Bast is of the Ancient Egyptian gods also known as the Netjeru. Similarly to her companions in the pantheon, she has a number of domains that are distinct and overlapping. These are the domains I honour: Life, life's pleasures, the heart, and healing Grace and joy Protection, justice, and the home Music, dance, beauty, and love Cats and felines Women and children The sun, moon, light Perfumes and ointments Thresholds, transitions, and initiations

Some of her ancient symbols and tools include the sistrum, the ankh, and alabaster ointment jars. This text is a work in progress!
